  • Gather and share information. Share tips on living with these conditions in day-to-day life.

  • Meetings are held at Health Enhancement Services in the Plaza at Washoe and at other locations in the Reno area.

  • Meetings include guest lecturers, question and answer time and parent networking.

  • All meetings are free and open to parents, guardians, and caregivers of children with asthma and/or food allergies. We especially welcome parents of children who have been recently diagnosed.

  • Host food free events for kids, including the popular Halloween Jump Man Jump Event, the Egg-less Easter Egg hunt, and Crainium Game Night. We are looking to add Tween and Teen events as well as a nursing mother support group in 2008.

  • Collaborate with the Washoe County School District on food allergy and asthma related topics.

  • Participate and support community awareness.
